Spending $100 per month for 200 channels I never watch was starting to seem silly. I now get the big four in HD over the air for free. For less than half of what I save in one month I can buy the whole season of the walking dead.

Don't know about iTunes, but I had an HD copy downloaded 37 minutes after it aired through torrents.

I've watched the whole series in the past week since they are on Netflix now. Watching the first episode of the new season now. I have to say, it's a pretty good show. :thumb:

That's how I got hooked last year. I watched the first episode of season 4, then went back and watched seasons 1-3 on Netflix before watching the rest of season 4. Now I am getting the season 5 episodes on iTunes the day after they originally air. Having started in the middle, it was a bit of a surprise to go back to the beginning and see how unfit for survival some of the stronger characters originally were. The writing on the show is great and the character transformations have been profound.

I agree. It got a little weird in season three but seeing it now it all makes sense.

I said I wouldn't start watching it until all the seasons were on Netflix and a week before season five premiered season 4 came out. So last week I started watching. All the while I should be getting ready for my trip this weekend. Lol

I lived on 3 hours of sleep the first 2 weeks that game was out. It's a shame that none of my friends play this. LvL28 and dying to do vog but can't find the people at 4am to rock it out and I refuse to pug it.

Good bump. Forgot about this thread. Agree the shows have been really good this season. Though I've liked them all before too. Not sure how many shows left, but read today the finale is going to be 90 minutes.

It's my favorite show if you really like the TV series read the comic books they are really good think if the show was on HBO. I buy the hard back every September when it's released they have 11 hard back books now.
