Off road lighting

I'm looking to add some good quality, durable, and affordable off road lights to my JK and I figure that I can benefit from you guys' experience/knowledge. What brands should I steer totally clear of? What brands/models should i consider?

I found some on EBay rather inexpensive but did not come with a wiring harness. I did not need a wiring harness because I have a DIY relay system.

Search LED for Jeeps.

I did ANZO HID driving lights. Comes complete with harness, but I ran them through a relay anyway. They're bright as hell.

I went with the KC 5" Apollos Long Range for my windshield. I got the pair for $110. The housing is made of plastic (which some people don't like because they're more "fragile", but they are much lighter and I don't mind them). Once I get my windshield bracket I'll be getting 5 more Apollos.

Not sure, but my HIDS are super tight. I planned to mount then under the bar, but they hit the grill... I'm still thinking about alternatives.

Shout out thanks to Gtony for the bar!

Speed Demon lights. I have a 20 inch light bar and 2 dullay style lights on the pillars. Great price really good quality and they are based in Calgary canada. (Where I live). They also sell all the brackets and wiring harness you need.

I run Combat LED. They are slightly more affordable than Rigid, and I believe they are a better, brighter product. I have seen them side by side and found on early mornings the Rigid had all sorts of dew/moisture inside the lens and housing,, that equals water sitting on your electronics!!! The Combat LED was dry as a bone! Also,, the brighter isnt just a claim. Combat is actually running higher power to every LED, which equals brighter light.

Moisture has nothing to do with manufacturer. It has a bad seal if there is moisture. It's an easy fix.

What he said..
, if there is a bad seal, you get moisture. Allen wrench and silicone to fix mine. Still holding up fine

I've had nothing but good things to say about inspired engineering. They warranty their lights and the customer service has been nothing short of amazing.

A seal on a light fixture has nothing to do with manufacturing!!! That makes no sense!!

OK,,, would you rather buy a product with enough quality control from the factory that the proper seal is there,, or from a company that cant get the seal correct? In addition to that point,, Combat lights come with a GORE valve, which is an expensive little piece which allows for atmospheric equalization without allowing in moisture. I don't believe earlier products from the competition had this; although I do believe they now do. I don't claim to be an expert, but when I see water inside a light housing just from being parked outside overnight,, I don't want that light on my jeep.

I bought one of the knock off 50 inch bars and was pretty impressed. Havent really had an issue with condensation yet. Pics below. First Trucklite low beam, second truck lite high beam, and then with 50inch light bar and rigid dually's on a-pillar.

What kind of mount you got that 50" bar on? I thought the mounts for those things used the a-pillar mounting points.
