The "Mid Life" buy thread

One small tip on the plastic trim: When you cut the plastic you have to (well at least I did) cut the white plastic push pin and its mount off which leaves the back end a little loose in my opinion. What I did was took the push pin and just glued to the molding piece and it is long enough to be push up into the hole and hold the trim much tighter. :thumb:

Decided to go with this until I can afford those fancy quick disconnects for the front of the seat. I can reach and pull the opposite side from the drivers seat :thumb:

You must have plastiman arms. You can reach the rear pass roll bar from drivers seat?

That's a good spot though, so long as you don't have rear passengers. I'd be afraid my kids would whack their heads.

:cheesy: They are right behind the sound bar and mounted on the side of the bar not the bottom. and yes I can reach them from the drivers seat (not while driving) but with a good lean.

My girl friends kids (teen ager) have plenty of room.

I agree not ideal but better then in the back with only a trek top.

Lol. Maybe it's the way the pic is angled.

One thing I do like about the standard premium soft top. I can get to the large extinguisher really quick. Just have to unzip the window. Had a trial run on the Moab trip. Was able to have the one by my seat and the rear extinguisher in my hand in about 15 seconds.

Nice!:thumb:

I Tried a few different ways and the slowest for me was in the back.

Added my ARB Twin today under the passenger seat. Still need to wire it up and get some different fittings to clean it all up.

Carolina Metal Masters Bracket - I had to move it to the forward empty holes to get more clearance underneath.

Just tie wrapped the Manifold in place until I get my Locker Solenoids to make sure its final location will be able to be hidden and clear the compressor.
