So the hard top is going to look something like this. Except mine will have the ability to open the rear window. More useful for getting things in and out of the car

Rear window will be heavy and likely to bounce going over bumps. So to hold it in place I'm thinking about putting two hood straps on the inside at the bottom. This should be easy to lock it in place. Let's see if it will work.

Was just presented with a new idea for holding the rear window in place. Using 2 of the same latches which hold a hard or soft top to the windshield. This might give a much tighter fit... Hmmm

Do they fill faster even with a standard compressor?

I think so. I will try it later tonight and post the results.

Standard compressor test run today:

I used my 2.5hp standard garage compressor with 50L tank today to fill the 37" tires. Here's the results:

From 10-30 psi through the Monster Valve : 1 min 12 sec.
From 10-30 psi through the normal valve : 2 min 09 sec.

Although slower than with CO2 it's still an improvement.

Rubicon Dana 44 front and rear axle now in place on Iceberg. Thanks for Polar Bear for donations, until I get a Dynatrac ProRock 44. Draglink flipkit installed. Everything looks good except swaybar is for some reason not installed yet. And the lower control arms were upside down... But we are making progress

Upside down control arms. I have asked the workshop to swap them driver to passenger, so they will have the adjustment tap and zerk fittings facing UP, not down.

4 tires ready with slabs. Can't wait to see them on the Jeep. Keeping the 5th until I install the Crawlerconceptz tire carrier, when I get the car back from the workshop.

Workshop promised that my Jeep should be ready next Thursday with the hard top, hood and seats installed. Counting down

That is an interesting looking hard top. Curious why you are fabbing one like this out of steel and fiberglass? Don't get me wrong, I really dig it. But why not get a used hard top? Is it the slant in the back that you like or more security? I've never seen one like this. Will it still be removable? It must weight a ton. What about the windows? Glass or acrylic? Awesome build too!!
