The Evolution of ENVY Build

Nice upgrades. Jealous of that Currie tie rod. Sucks about those bent shafts. Those curbs can be brutal on them.

Look forward to seeing you guys Saturday.

Got word today that while doing my King shock service they discovered I had three bent shock shafts and the fourth was a little pitted.

Guess I'll be dropping a little more coin than I had anticipated for replacements. On the bright side, I'll have some shiny newish 2.5s.

Also ordered up some new Trail Grapplers and should have those next week.

Not to mention a new ARB fridge, the Currie tie rod, new drag link, new rear passenger axle shaft replacement from revolution.

ENVY getting dolled up for 2017. Lol.

Nice! [emoji106]

How did you bend those shafts? Are they making contact somewhere?

No contact as everything is set up properly. Apparently this isn't uncommon and they see quite a few come in like that.

"High mileage and actually wheeling the Jeep." Their words not mine.

Beyond that, who knows. I didn't have the relocation brackets up front for a bit as they hadn't come out with them yet. That's just me speculating.

Nice sounds like she is all ready to go. I'm running revolution shafts as well after the Rubicon..;). I used a press to make my jeep not frown but I'd like to go Currie eventually. See us tomorrow. Hopefully I can get my CB sorted out.

New ARB fridge came in that was on backorder. [emoji41]

I'm leaning toward getting a new battery to support the fridge, winch and accessories. I also need/want to get the wiring harness. Not to mention needing to build the custom trunk storage and security shelf.

And, here's a pic of the old shock shafts and the shock oil. Picked up the Jeep last Friday just before the New Years run. Pretty cool when the boss himself comes over and explains the process/reasoning. That oil should be the color of cooking oil. [emoji51]

From what I was told, this is all fairly normal routine maintenance. And the bent shock isn't that uncommon.

Now that I have the relocation brackets from the start, hopefully won't have to spend the extra coin. Nor will I be waiting 45k miles to do the service again. A very noticeable difference on road!

Very cool! How happy are you to have the ARB! Love it!

Pretty stoked. [emoji16][emoji16] It's still a shit ton of money, but hard to resist the holiday pricing from Qtec! Just need to get it ready to use. Read a lot of folks having issues with the outlets as power source, so that's why I'm leaning toward the dedicated line.

Yeah, we bought the ARB remote kit and wired it to the battery.

You still running the stock battery?

I know who to call to help run wiring. [emoji6][emoji106]

Well we're not on the stock battery but we have one battery. I use the dual battery tray for the PSC reservoir. Running two batteries is not an option for me with this setup.

Lol. The famous self quote. [emoji6]

I plan to run single battery as well. Likely the odyssey as an upgrade. I'm on my second mopar battery already.

Lol, I don't know why that happened. I went to edit it to say that Ray would be happy to help you and it quoted me instead. I don't know how many batteries we've gone through it's a few.
