BTW I have also lived in Phoenix where one must cool things down by 42 degrees to be comfortable

Highest recorded temp in Phoenix is 122°F so you'd really only have to cool it down by 27 degrees to be comfortable.
I spent a winter in Canada and saw some -40s... Anything below -20 is just painful

Here's a pic from a hike a few friends and I did while we were out there, it was gorgeous, wish I had my jeep out there!I just seen a posted picture of an Alaska State Trooper standing in front of a sign stating it was -54F. That is way too cold. Ill see if i can find the picture.
