Planning on painting the rings? I think the orange would look sweet on the black jeep.

I think they would look awesome with the black too but my jeep "theme" colors are silver and black so I think I'm just going to clean them up well and see how they look unpainted and go from there

Getting caught up on your build. Hello slabs! That's awesome man. Selling 40s?

Thanks for stopping in, excited about the slabs, the plan is to sell the 40s and put the $ towards some 37 STT pros.. why I looking to upgrade to 40s already?! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji12]

Haha, it helps if beer is involved in the process!
When you mount the STT Pros don't be surprised if the rings don't seem like they'll EVER seat on the wheel. First one seemed like it took forever but I soaked the underside of the ring and the tire with a diluted Murphys oil soap solution & it helped a bunch.

Yeah, these don't seem to seat as easily as the Nitto's do. They don't have that bead that the ring fits into nicely either. They do eventually seat though. Takes forever chasing those damn screws around in a circle over and over and over...

Taking the tires/wheels to be broken down IMG_0024.JPG
All done, Discount tire wanted nothing to do with them so I drove the across the street and the 5 guys standing around at Big O were like let's do this and being they didn't have much work they knocked them all out in about 10min IMG_0026.JPG being it was raining I didn't take many pics but this one really makes my 35 look tiny IMG_0023.JPG

LOL - my discount tire wouldn't help me either but the Les Schwab across the street didn't blink an eye either. Glad to hear you're making progress with these [emoji1303]

Funny how two places that do basically the same thing have such different policies. I was just like, ok if you don't want my business then I'll go. I will say the guys in discount seemed a bit more sophisticated and when our truck pulled up with these behemoths they all were looking out the window like "oh shit!" But the big o guys were more like, "even though we close in 20 we'll knock these out" cheap too

Bakersfield Discount dismounted my beadlocks fast and cheap

Gotta vary store by store because MTG even had luck at a discount here in town, they certainly haven't lost my business or anything as they still have great service and deals on tires but must be hit or miss with beadlocks, I thought I'd have a chance being the rings were off but it all worked out
