Time for my JK to Evolve - Highoctane Anvil '15 Rubicon Unlimited build

I know a lot of people run those, but it gives me the willies thinking about it, and I want EVO Rock skins

Install on this tire carrier doesn't look too bad. Just have to be precise with drilling the holes for the 4 mount brackets. I figure if I can rig a flight control system on a heavy lift helicopter I can certainly rig this tire carrier and joints to open and close fairly smooth.

Post more mods you plan on doing. Been a fun thread to follow, unlike myself I have a dream list but you follow through...
Any power adders planned for the v6? LSX later? I know it's a 15 but your rig is ready for a ls3!
Anvil is my favorite color, we own silver but love the Anvil.

Got both the upper mount brackets installed tonight. Tomorrow I'll hang the tire carrier from the two upper brackets to get a location for the lower brackets, drill the holes, and be done with it.

Back at it again early today. Hoping to be done by lunch time.

All finished! Was a PITA to install, but lots of measuring before drilling made it all worth it. No rattles or noises from it. Slightly difficult to open but mostly because of the preload I have in it.

Fun day in the Jeep today. Not many pics. Was busy driving.

I was in the 9am group so saw your rig right before you all headed out...looks amazing. Would have loved to seen it in action.

Was nice to get to flex the suspension out. Trail was pretty washed out which made it more fun! Didn't stick around long at all in Crown King because I had my 3 y/o daughter and still wanted to take the forest roads to Mayer.
