Our new favorite red. We just added a case to our stock. Got turned onto it at a neat little restaurant in Sioux Falls (Parker's Bistro).

Also, the ocean in the background I have shipped from my parents who are in La Quinta to us. Can't buy hat stuff in good ole SD.

Caught the Bug
Learned something about wine this week...apparently the FDA allows vineyards to add up to 100 chemicals to wine during the winemaking process. Needless to say I was less than impressed. Many European and South American wineries don't use the "new and improved" methods that many wineries do here in the good ol' us of a, including many high end ones. So I set off to Total Wine in search of wines that didn't add shitty ingredients and cost less than $20.

Valentine's Day with the Mrs and the kids. Found an awesome tasting room/winery/restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Took a couple bottles home with us for the future!

2013 Espirit Blanc de Tablas from Tablas Creek in central Cali. They specially in French varietals and blends. They also are an all natural/organic vineyard... so no chems MTG. [emoji106][emoji485]
