2012 Dozer JKU - this might take a while

Ok I finally finished my headboard (sort of) and got moved into my new place. I still have to add some lights and outlets to it but I'll do that whenever I feel like it.

That picture was before I added the drawer handles and bolted the night stands on.

I got to put on some new additions to the Jeep today. I bought the rear grab handles from trek armor and had my buddy make me some identical a ones for the front since they don't make them for the front on the same design.

handles with nylon strap on the center with grommets on each end so that I could bolt them on rather than strapping them around the roll bar. They tuck up nicely and look super clean I think.

I also added some American Flag cowl decals.

In other news. One of my best friends joined the Wayalife with a 2015 JKU Sahara!

Finally trimmed my fenders more. I still have to do the back and the tears but I'm going to leave them as is until I take off the steps and trim the bumpers.

This bed looks awesome!

Bought some 303 Aerospace Protectant today at NAPA. It works great! I'll post again after a few weeks and see how it holds up. Mine weren't that bad but they are definitely much better now. The pictures don't do it justice. That stuff is awesome!

I also washed it up and detailed the inside.

It won't stay clean long with the construction all around my house but hey, looks god right now.

Came down to Wilmington to visit Scout19D-2009 and he found me a set of Rubi Rails at this new local shop for $60 bucks! Couldn't pass those up so we picked them up and threw them on in the parking lot of his apartment. So now I have a set of stock steps if anyone wants them.

Now that the steps are gone I need to finish my fender trim on the back sides. I also seriously need to trim my pinch seam and trim the rails back there too. That will be the next thing to happen later this week.

Also had to check out his new 2015 JKU. His premium sound system makes me jealous. So much better than mine.

So I have been swamped with law school, and then I accepted a position to become an Apache pilot so I have been locked away in this little known Army school called Warrant Officer Candidate School. I graduate WOCS Wednesday and now I have some extra time and cash to blow before starting flight school in July. Where should I start??

Edit: here's the picture from graduation so y'all know I'm not full of it. FLY ARMY!

Took some time today to make this Spiderweb Shade style deal! I got a 4x6 American flag, a pack of grommets, and a value pack of 8 bungie balls all from Lowed for $40 bucks. I used zip ties on the front and then pulled it tight and did the back corner grommets next. Ran the bungie balls under the seatbelt mount on the roll bar. Then I did a set of grommets and bungie balls right behind the sound bar, right in front of the sound bar, and mid way between the windshield and the sound bar. I'm very happy with it! I'll let yall know how it holds up over time.

Love this idea! Awesome job!

Finally put on my new Spiderweb Shade. Pictures to follow. Also picked up a stock soft top from a 2014 off Craigslist from a local Jeep guy. It's in great shape. I just wanted to try the squared back stock top out for a while. I'm going to try and put it on tomorrow and I'll post some pictures of that too. Also ordered some Drake hood latches that should be here Wednesday. Now I'm just trying to decide which lift to get. My wallet says the AEV 2.5 inch XT but my mind and heart say the EVO bolt on CO package from Northridge4x4...what to do???

These came in today. I'm excited to try them out.

Also finally got a replacement mucket seal for the passenger side since. I'm going to be putting on the factory soft top I need it to make it sit right.

Just waiting for the rain to stop so I can put the new soft top and good latches on.
