Used to blowfish tournaments on FtGibson and Verdigris river. Never go anymore but I have all my recurves still. Pretty fun if you have never tried it! Both fish are not worthy to eat, but some people around here like fried or boiled carp. After out tourneys a few farmers picked up all of our fish and fed their hogs with them.

Gar is pretty good although a real chore to clean,you have to use tin snips to open them up.

I never have tried eating the carp but I heard they were pretty good eating if you cooked them
on a cedar plank until done and then you throw the carp away and eat the cedar plank. haha
