Oh, yeah, definitely Mac friendly but, if it's your first time working on videos, I think you might find it a bit complicated. I might recommend that you just start off with the iMovie software that comes on your Mac and learn the basics first. Premier is expensive and to you really need to have a powerful system to make it work.
