I was a red seal heavy equipment technician for a Caterpillar dealership in Canada for years. Now I supervise the field service mining division there.

I'm a Mercedes Benz technician. We don't get overtime, it's flat rate. I fund the jeep by making a lot of hours when the work is available. I've had over 200 hours before in a 2 week pay period. Oh and no wife or kids with a mortgage payment that's only a little more than my jeep payment.

I'm an electrical controls engineer for a fulfillment company everyone on here buys from. Wish my Jeep build would move a little faster but it has to share funds with two kids, a wife, one kid playing travel baseball, a 66 corvette, and 57 ford I'm restoring.

It was extremely fast. The problem was, I have 3 miles of gravel road to get to my place. So it had to go to a better home.
