Update: it was raining pretty good and dark when I drove to work at 6, these bulbs give off almost no usable light. The beam is spread so far even my garage door was glowing. The color match is almost perfect outdoors but they aren't going to help me drive any better. I'm going to keep them because 1. I'm stubborn and cheap, and 2. For vanity they look great from outside of the jeep. I'm now in the market for some rigid driving lights.
