I'm in the huge city of Eldridge, just out side of Davenport, how about you?

The bead locks were not as difficult as I imagined, about a half hour per wheel. I guess I was a bit apprehensive only because I have no experience with this type of wheel, I do like the looks though and am anxious to try them out in Moab in March.

Looks very nice !!

I'd say if you had front and rear lockers, a good running start, ten probally still no
That's damn deep. I was going through snow almost that much but it looks like you have Ice and underneath layer and that's hard for any non studded tire!!

Where is everyone from? Besides the Badlands in Indiana, what other good wheeling spots are nearby?

I'm in Peoria, Illinois.

I'm in Peoria, Illinois.

I'm from Rochester Minnesota and the only nearby spot is Appleton Offroad Park which is 3 hrs away from me.
I'm trying to get ahold of a local land owner that has hauled in a bunch of large rocks and boulders into a area near Rochester here. I'm going to see at my next meet and greet if some people wanna go play.

There is a spot called "The Cliffs" about an hour and a half from me in north central Illinois but it's really tight for a JK. I go sometimes but take my Polaris Rzr instead of the Jeep. For the most part my Jeep is a pavement toy here in the Midwest. I take four or five trips each year to Moab or Colorado and enjoy the Jeep there. I live just outside of Davenport in east central Iowa.

4-5 trips to Moab and Colorado a year!! I'm super jealous!!!

I head west about every chance I get. I'm 50 now and slowing down on the crazy work hours, I was on the 60+ hour weeks for quite a few years. This orange Rubicon is the most recent in a string of 5, I'm still deciding where to go next with modifications. I wish I lived about a thousand miles farther west but will have to wait a few more years.

Might be a good plan. :thumb: Need to see what is on the calendar for Saturday. We need to get some of the local Jeep guys together. I'll let you know if I can make it.

There is a sweet park near Springfield MO. It's called SMORR it's a little bit of a drive for me from Des Moines (6 hrs) but its worth it.
