Wednesday while at work, my wife contacted me and told me that I she had been given the day off on Friday. Being that we don't get many week days off together, we decided to make a day of it. Needing to head to Dallas to pick up some parts from a fellow Wayalifer, we decided to make the trip and being that today (the 23rd) is Onyx's first birthday, we decided to call it Onyx's birthday trip.

After talking with Pepe and his wife Sophia, we drove further west and finally made it to our destination for the day.
My wife and I are huge fans of old arcade style video games, so needless to say, we had plenty to do.
Headed back home, we found a Bus that looked strangely familiar.
Just down the road, we found an abandoned jet. This thing was awesome!

Unfortunately due to severe weather, our exploration got cut short and we had to come back and head on home. After we got home, I was able to pull apart all the parts that Pepe donated to Onyx's build.
And after all was said and done, after 365 days of driving, Onyx celebrates her first birthday with a little less than 10k on the clock.
