It is on a totally different level. You get a hint of caramel and vanilla. It is a little sweet also as the put brown sugar in it as it ages in the bourbon barrels. It comes in at 12.5% also. Definitely an end of good meal drinker.
 
No date stamp. Its a FV71M, meaning it was made for military use. Im going to guess its from the late 50's early 60's. Thats just a guess though, I really have no idea.





That thing is sweet. I'm into collecting vintage snap on tools. Still don't have any military or government issued stuff. Now I'll be on the hunt.

They are on ebay. You can pick them up for about 20-40 bucks. My grandfather gave me this one when I was about 15 and just getting into mechanic work. For some reason its still my go to
