Teraflex - Bad rep for a reason or isolated cases?

Who ownes JKS now? I thought they were manufacturing good products.
I suppose my jeep will go directly to EVO for its lift and prorock 44.
Just ordered the Dynotrac brakes from EVO and they showed up two days later. What a difference they make.

I think Fox owns JKS now but since I found EVO on this Forum I haven’t purchased anything else.

Not surprised if they do. And a company like Extreme Terrain won't care as long as they're making a buck off of it somehow.

I get an extreme terrain catalog in the mail so I can look at lights, mirrors, and cheap interior parts. I flip right past their cheap Chinese wheels and lifts.

If you're willing to buy 500 at a time, you can buy all this shit from the Chinese source on Alibaba and for pennies on the dollar. They'll even package them in boxes with your name on it.
 
Seems like some have had a bad experience with Terraflex. Personally I have had excellent wear and use out of the one Terraflex part I own. I can't complain at all since it was a free hat, but have had no quality issues so far and I still use it regularly while working on my Jeep in the garage :rolleyes2:
 
Well, I will tag up myself in this thread.

I ended up with an extremely good deal on a TFD44 w/.5" tubes to replace my busted D30. Nothing about brand loyalty or anything. Just getting a back to a functional Jeep!

So to start, they shipped it via Saia... And it's been stuck on a fucking dock for the past 3 days because they are a shitty ltl shipper.

So all I can say is that this is off to a good start... I'll update this post as the life of this housing goes.

I'm down to take over/under odds!
 
I purchased the Teraflex S/T 3 lift with Fox shocks. Been running it now for a while and haven’t had the chance to wheel it due to other problems, but hitting any bump in the road you’ll feel it! The ride is so much stiffer than stock. I honestly wish I would have listened and got an Evo lift, I haven’t had anything break or fail on me but having to deal with the stiffness of the ride is a pain!

Yup that shipping company sucks ass. I just waited three days for a server rack that was an hour away. When it finally showed up it was fucked up from being dropped. 🤬

I too have had them bounce a server rack... Then they tried to say it was packed wrong.

Luckily there were orientation stickers on it, and at some point it was upside down.

TOTALLY PACKED WRONG!
 
Chinese steel.......the low quality stuff and prison labor....as are their cheap tools. They keep the good stuff for the military.
