A little monokote vinyl, some Loctite marine grade glue and voila!

Can I ask what you did to prep the surface of the rings before painting them? I assume you'd give them a scuffing and then just hit them with primer.

Well they took a huge beating on the trail this weekend. Held up fine. Btw, most of the hits were from rocks on the true old sluice. Hell the overall jeep did great since im open front and rear with a dana 30 up front.

I cleaned it with an SOS pad and sprayed the primer and paint. I didn't scuff them.

Nice i did something like this in my YJ, was doing about 80 when 4wd dropped in and blow up the whole transfer case and lost both driveshafts lol! its not a crazy chance if you have normal tools you can do it. Hardest part for me what getting it off the transfercase, also did this on the ground!

Yea I'm confident I can do it myself but I need it for work and what not so a shop can get it some quicker I'm in the works for getting all necessary parts

Trimmed back pinch seam a little more to accommodate recent move to 37s

Fixed it

Last couple of weeks my jeeps been at LoonyToons shop. We fabricated a cage.

Looks great. When I move back home, I am hoping to put my brother's welder to work on one when he has downtime between jobs/tasks.

Ok, not my jeep. One of my guys just got a BDS 2.5" lift, fox mono tube shocks, steel wheels and some sneakers... Looks pretty good for a sport!!! Welcome to the addiction Wilson.
