So much for satisfyingI'm thinking my rush to winterize may not have been the best decision.
Since the coating remains fluid, this is what happens after a long trip of pretty much 80 mph the whole way.
I'm going to take some Degreaser and power wash it at the diy car wash, hopefully I can clean off a lot of the areas where I don't want it.

Just got back from the car wash and the pressure wand was enough to remove the film from the areas the wind had blown it onto and areas that I didn't want it on.Thats the lanolin in it - looked it up - looks similar to fluid film. it's stinky

Not sure on the JL/JT tapping into the light harness may throw a code for light out the can network will see a voltage change.View attachment 436327

Found this hook holder on Amazon I think it looks better than having it hanging on the tow hook lol
Also auxbeam was having some holiday sales so I snagged some lights and a switch panel just waiting on the mounts for everything

Has anyone wired aftermarket halos to the driving lights on non led JL/JT I tried tapping into the park/driving wires at the fender lights and no lights would work when they were plugged in. The auxbeam panel uses the same fuse for power as the halos so I need to figure something out lol
