Do you have any examples of this or just talking out of your ass? I've had nothing but great service from them. Sure, they aren't a forum favorite, but you seem to go out of your way to bash them anytime it comes up. Not really what I would expect from a retailer such as yourself honestly.

Not talking out of my ass, but I can’t realistically go on a forum and list every conversation I’ve ever had with people that have turned to me for help when they were let down but that particular place.

Is there a reason your so butt hurt about this? Again, all you have to do is scroll past it if it bothers you so much. Instead you’ve decided to make a big deal about it.

The post to which you responded said nothing about poor service. He complained about margins being driven down and the retailer not being there for you when you need them. Bubba/Exodus is trying to add value and distinguish his business over others by emphasizing a personal touch. If that’s not of value to you, you’re free to shop based on lowest price alone.

I agree with this, and Bubba has it going on. The owner of NR never gave me his personal cell number when I used to purchase things there, and go over an install with tips to help. That is great customer service

Absolutely. I want to see how you as a business owner handle it. So far, you've made claims about a competitors service but haven't provided any evidence beyond Northridge not picking up a call after hours. I don't see Northridge here or anywhere making claims about your business without evidence, if they did what would you do? You are still a salesperson at the end of the day, and quite frankly fishing potential customers from a competitor by making bullshit claims is ridiculous. You mentioned margins, what do you expect? You're in distribution, you don't manufacture anything. It's a margin battle for everyone, because you aren't doing anything different. Other members can form their opinion of Northridge, but you are a business and representing yourself as one.

I’ve purchased from several big name vendors, but often questioned if “they” were knowledgeable or not. I recently asked Bubba at Exodus for his recommendation on several parts and he struck me as knowledgeable and honest, so I placed my order and probably will continue in the future!

Jesus guy, did you miss the part where countless customers have complained to me about their past experiences with them? Back before I owned my own website I had to deal with them. There were a few instances of lost shipments and incorrect orders but it wasn’t until I started having conversations with my own customers that I realized how frequently it actually happens. I’m sure that’s not a good enough answer for you though.

Are you that guy that got butthurt because I wouldn’t ship to Canada?

I have never ordered from you. I don't see how that is relevant. I think it's you that seems to be missing the point. Other users can form whatever opinion they want. You're on a business account promoting yourself, and doing so by making claims you can't back up. Hold yourself to a higher standard as a business owner. Promote your business without bringing another one into it.

I have bought a few things from Northridge but had a few issues with them. It was my money and I felt like they were basically trying to take it from me.
2 of them never got shipped. I got charged for the item and i waited for the tracking info but never got it. When i called they said yes it did ship but couldn't provide me with any tracking info cause they said it drop shipped from manufacture. So i tell them i want a refund and they said that i would have to return the item when i received it. I never did receive anything so never got a refund.
Then the last one was i bought a product cause it was a hell of a deal. Was charged for the item, waited a few days and never got tracking number. So i called them up. They said well we cant sell that to you that cheap cause we are actually losing money with it that low. I said so when were you going to let me know that. And if that was the case why did you charge my card and not say anything to me about it.

I talked to Bubba 1 time, and i couldnt wait to get my Jeep to his shop. And i did and dropped a shit ton of dinero and got everything i wanted and more. But if your happy with Northridge you just keep on shopping there cause it is your money.
For me its Exodus Jeeps from now on. In fact i cant wait to get my jeep back up there for round 2!!

JKDream, why would a business owner such as Bubba, give his competition raving reviews? They are driving prices in his chosen profession down, should that make him happy? Does a cut in pay make you happy or do you go tell everyone how great of a guy your boss is?
