Installed my front EVO Plush Ride coils today. Jason0311 was nice enough to open up his garage to me so I didn’t have to lay in the snow to install these.

The ride is so much smoother! Definitely a quality upgrade. I purposefully hit some potholes I know to be jarring and these coils soaked them up nicely

Hopefully I can get the rear coils sooner than later!

These look nice man!!

Likely. Very common. Happens here in CO too as the temps rise and fall to extremes. If you haven't already, you may want to check with your insurance company for glass coverage. I think ours is like 4 dollars extra per month. Covers repairs and replacements, Zero dollar deductible, and no matter how many glass claims, the rates don't go up. And glass guys are mobile now and come to wherever you're at.

Also if you do have to replace it check out Safelite. I had an uh-oh with my hood that took out my windshield at 70mph out in the middle of nowhere panhandle of Texas while heading to CO. It was pretty bad so when I got to CO I pulled in to Grand Junction. Looked up the nearest Safelite and within an hr had a new windshield for $250. I thought that was pretty cheap for a new windshield and installed.

That had to be scary! I’ll check into safelite, I’m pretty sure there is one around here. The crack is slowly but surely growing... might be sooner than later

It did scare the shit out of me. But I was proud of myself with how I handled it.

Too bad they don’t do hoods

That’s crazy! So did your good just fly up?

It is an aftermarket hood and does not have the safety latch in the middle of the hood. The hood does say for off road use only and I knew that before buying. But I had the rugged ridge hood latches on it and it felt pretty solid. I was driving 70mph on a 2 lane road out in the panhandle of Texas and seen a cattle truck coming at me. He topped the hill and was coming down the hill and the smoke was rolling so I knew he was moving pretty good. When he passed me the wind gust was pretty violent. I guess the hood latches weren't as tight as I thought they were or something. The hood blew up and smashed my windshield and the brand new hood. I couldn't find the pieces of the hood latches they were gone.
I put the same hood back on but this time installed the Drake hood pin latches. It seems much better. 🤞🤞

I’m glad you made it out alright! That’s sketch! Let’s hope these latches are better this time lol [emoji106]
