Bubba, who is doing your anodizing? unfortunately, you weren't making these in aluminum when i went Fusion 4x4 last year. haha. but, i'm thinking about getting my tie rod and drag link anodized. like that hard coating you've got.

I sent him my DL to have the matching coating done to it while they were doing the TR :thumb:

Got mine ordered today, anodized, so I can scratch it on the rocks, but I can have it sooner since death wobble set in today

I was in a similar boat. I was fine with the raw but with my OEM TR being as bent as it was and only anodized in stock, I went black. [emoji6] Called last Thursday and had it this Wednesday. [emoji1303]

Well, I feel like an idiot.

I had planned to order the reamer, but with my schedule fouled up, I never actually sent the order in. Now I have this awesome time rod, and no way to install it until next week.

That is, unless another SoCal Wayalifer has one I can beg, borrow, rent, or buy today.

It will go it without the reamer. I put mine it without reaming the knuckle. Might not be best long term solution but it will work in a pinch depending on how bad your current tie rod is.

While I agree that it will "fit" in the hole, it will NOT be tight, and it won't take long for it to wiggle enough to ruin both the hole and the new tie rod end.

I have a work truck to drive, so I will make sure mine is right, since most of the miles on my Jeep come from wheeling trips.

When I can afford tires, driveshafts & a tire carrier... So sometime this year. I can install the tie rod now though... lol
