What problems does your Jeep have this week?

I’m really not sure if it’s the head. It seems to be running fine and I don’t want them to deny warranty repair because I replaced parts on my own. Seriously debating on just running it this weekend and see what happens. Kids would be super bummed if we couldn’t go.

I had to have a head replaced under warranty. I tried new plugs and a coil before taking it in and they still gave me warranty. The leak down test is what determined it was a head.

You called it. Overheated on the 5 mile drive to work. Checked the coolant it was slushy mix. After 3 hours with a space heater under the hood it hawed out and I replaced it with good coolant. The smell it was making was when tstat opened and then steamed/boiled over the overflow bottle. It was a fun night of fixing but it’s all good now, no smell inside!

Anyone ever get DTC P2504 code Charging System High Voltage? I was driving home last night and out of no where all my lights on the jeep went out for about 2 seconds and came back on. They battery dash light came on along with the sway bar light. Got home checked DTC and got the P2504 code?.

Engine ticking. It’s back at the dealership for warranty work. Think it’s a rocker and some of the dash lights coming on and off, maybe wheel speed sensor? At least this is what I think after some research on the web and here

Went to change my oil filter and this happened

Be aware the cap on the oil filter can become very brittle and snap when you go to change the filter as this just happen.

New Ring and Pinion going on the rear axle. Pinion Bearing started getting play and allowed for some deflection on the gears that has a whine from 40-60 on load unload

Seized up hinges on passenger door of my 2011 JK. The door barely moves. Will have to remove the door with the hinges on and try to beat them apart and clean them up.

Anyone else has had this issue? Any tips?

I used a jack and couple blocks of wood after soaking the hinges with pb blaster over the course of a week. Tough part was getting the door to lift without just raising the whole Jeep they were that stuck.

Tire seems to be angry with me. I heard a loud thud/pop that nearly made me shit my pants on the highway Friday morning on the way to work. Couldn’t find the source so just figured it was something hitting the windshield since it was a similar sound. Then I noticed this earlier today... guess a chunk of rubber hitting the fender at 70 mph will make a good bit of noise.

Now I have an excuse for new tires and wheels at least 🤣
