Holy shit! I just looked at the Jeeps going - 33 so far?!?
LOL, we'll have to rent a whole goddam banquet hall if we go out to eat as a group! :cheesy:

Make that 35 - I'll have 2 and so will Bill

There’s a couple guys bringing multiple Jeeps/people. It’s looking like 37-38 right now. I hope that we actually have that many Jeeps make it. It’ll be pretty epic! Brick and I need to start working on the shirts and stickers!

Yes, and that's the number before the West coast contingent wakes up and joins in.

Of course like all runs, some will drop out as well.

For sure, but I hope you’re right and the west coast bumps up as we get closer.

Put me down on the list as well. I shouldn’t be traveling for work.

I’ll probably only be there for the Moab portion and most likely be dragging my pop up camper along for lodging. Assuming there are areas to camp, I haven’t looked.

The JK doesn't count.

It would be really tough to make this one because I'm already taking off a lot of time in July. I'll know more closer to next summer.

Bill has this scheduled with two weekends included. Might make it a little bit easier! It would be great to have you there!

That’s great! Look forward to meeting you!
I don’t know what you think of KoAs but there is one in Moab. I’ll be staying in one of the cabins.

WOW - sounds like this is gonna be a hell of a trip! It'd be really hard for me to commit to anything so far in the future but if I can pull it off, sounds like it'd be a ton of fun.

Is it safe to assume someone is pulling permits for this?

It would be awesome to see you there!

I didn’t know permits would be necessary, is it because of such a large group?

Oh yeah, it'd be totally awesome to meet some of you guys. :thumb:

Yes, with a group this big, the BLM will REQUIRE you to have a permit for each and every trail you run especially out in Moab. If I recall, you will need to apply for the permits at least 180 days in advance but that shouldn't be a problem being that you're all planning this now. Not sure if you'll need insurance as well but being that this trip isn't being planned by a business, you may not need it.

We would definitely be honored by your presence, for sure! We’ll have to figure out what we need to do for permits. When I was there this summer, we had to get a pass for Hells Revenge, but none of the other trails had provisions for that. I suppose that doesn’t mean a permit wasn’t required, but we didn’t know to pull one.
