VIDEO : HANGING UP the HARD TOP

There are few things that are more liberating and exhilarating than driving a Jeep Wrangler topless. However, if you've got a hard top, it can be a bit of a challenge to remove, especially if you don't have anyone around to lend a helping hand. Of course, this is to say nothing about where to put it once you do get it off. Fortunately, I've got a solution for you and in this video, you'll get to see just how quick and easy it is to remove a 2-door or 4-door hard top, by yourself and have it stored up and out of the way by hanging it from the ceiling of your garage.

As always…excellent instructional video!
Unfortunately I can’t take off my HT very often due to climate conditions in my country 😩

Damn them half doors are so nice. Great looking Jeep
Thank you :)
As a jeep should be, top off and half doors opened up!
Totally agreed. Love it! :)
I called my local jeep dealer & was told "Thats not something offered, you should look for aftermarket" That was the response after a three day wait.
LOL - ya gotta love dealerships and how little they actually know about anything. Amazing they can make any sales at all.
They are available for JT order, dual door group.

Won't be long they'll be available, either new through a retailer, or "take offs" from people that don't like them after all.

Worst thing would be cost of paint match.
Cost isn't too bad if you have a good shop and really, I'd rather have them painted locally so that they can match the shitty paint job on the rest of the Jeep. 🤪
I’m ashamed to say, I haven’t removed my hardtop yet. 🤦🏻‍♂️
LOL - shame on you! 😁

Now that's one good looking Jeep! 🍻
Thank you :)
I think 2 doors always look better topless. Loved the beep at the end. Great video.
I agree and I think it's because that's how you almost always see older Jeeps. :)
Great entertaining video, and the simplicity of that setup for holding the top, awesome! 👍
Awesome, glad to here it :)
Just realized the pup was along for the ride.
The look on his face "OH MAN this is GREAT"
LOL - oh yeah, she loves it :)

Nice video, I like the storage areas for the bolts and stuff.
never knew about the top warping from hanging.
Yeah, it's not that big of a deal but the weight of the top will pull it apart and over time, it'll be enough that you can see it. Better safe than sorry.
As always solid delivery. Nice money saving tips!! You made it look suoer easy.
Glad to hear you liked what you saw and it really is that easy :)
Looks like a funmobile...
It's a hoot :D
Enjoyed the video especially the lead and the end.
Why thank you. So glad you enjoyed the silliness we had with this one :)

Damn, now I need to build a garage just so I can store my roof! A little more tricky with a JT!
Pippi looks adorable, making me want a 2-door now...
