It was a great tour. The mine is HUGE!!
It’s funny to think that copper was once considered a nuisance to the mine operation and now it’s the primary mineral along with gold and silver.

We passed through Wells, NV on the way up to Idaho. It’s famous for its ‘wells’ or water holes. These are due to the snow melt on the mountains to the south. The underground water is plentiful and the resulting pools were used by the Indians and the Settlers passing through.
