Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Looks to me they are showcasing what a joke politicians are all politicians not just one party.
The Newsom media team via the Office of Governor Newsom’s X account has been trolling Trump by imitating his posts by writing with all caps rants, incoherent thought processes, and odd AI images like Trump himself reshares. Regardless of what you think of Newsom, they’re showing how dumb Trump’s Truth Social posts are by copying him.

I shared one I thought was funny (two of the characters aren’t even dead so how can they be watching over him), and the ketchup one was posted by someone in the comments on one of his posts. The ketchup humor seems relevant to the conspiracy theory vibe and title of this thread and a bit tame compared to other memes shared here. Too soon? Don’t think so, but that’s just me.

I don’t think anyone said too soon, just nobody understands what any of it means.

I was more responding to my own internal critic when asking “too soon?”.

Yeah, taking one of Newsom’s posts alone and out of context is confusing. For whatever reason I see all their posts in my X feed even though I’m not subscribed to their account, and taken together they’re a pretty effective trolling effort. I guess the algorithm knows I’m politically schizophrenic and serves me up left/right/middle content.

I find you use of the term "families that are more fortunate" to be very disturbing. This makes it sound like people can not suceed unless they were born with a golden spoon in their mouth. Indeed, I have seen (and know) many people who were born into considerable/extreme poverty (imagine living in an uninsulated wooden shack and peeping out a knothole to see the deep snow) but are now living comfortable middle-class lives. They accomplished this by working very hard and/or getting an education (and working very hard).
It does not mean that at all. Surely (and damn it, I am going to call you Shirley) you wouldn't say that a child whose parents can provide a comfortable home, nutritious meals, going to schools that have low teacher to student ratios, well equipped facilities, tutors, etc., and don't have to provide child care to their siblings, work to help out at home, and a myriad of other advantages are not more fortunate than a child that does not have those things?

I have come a long way in my standard of living since I was in high school, but yet I realize that I am still more fortunate than many other people. Heck, just being born in the U.S. makes you more fortunate than millions of people born in third world countries.

I feel like you've been here long enough that you should know that engaging Bob is akin to addressing your goldfish
