Always use the owners manual. For installing Jeep parts I’ll use the internet or YouTube mainly Eddie and Cindy’s videos.
Agree with this.
Plus basic mechanical common sense.
And in my JK, I turn the key to see what the codes are. Then throw parts or electrical tape at it until it behaves.

Stock jeep, owners manual. Heavily modified jeep, whatever makes it not fall apart. Could be gorilla glue in the motor if thats what it takes.
…And this. 5w0 gorilla glue in the winter.

Umm, am I missing something here? 🤔
No, was just poking fun because we couldn’t get it to wobble on the pristine hiway by him. Same hiway in my area is nothing but seams, and they get it to wobbling real good (or bad).
I wish I could record it, it’s a bad case. My wife won’t even get in the Gladiator.

Depends on what it is, but usually a mixture of the owner's manual, info on forums, google searches, or YouTube.

Whatever it is, I don't just take someone's word for it. Especially someone who benefits financially by upselling or influencing my decision.

Owners manual and my mechanical training. Stick with what the engineers recommend as far as fluid to be used an then my knowledge to know to change it more often than what they say lol

As far as parts install goes these days will check out some videos or tips to get it assembled and installed quicker. Someone else always finds a quicker and easier way than what the service manual says
