New Wrangler convenience?
The Jeep Wrangler is the only “plate-able” vehicle sold in the US which has removable doors, along with a fold-down windshield and removable top. However, until now, owners have had to go out and buy Torx tools to actually get the doors off.
“Ram Man” wrote that the 2015 Jeep Wrangler will, at last, come with a Torx tool kit to help with removal of the doors and hard top.
The Wrangler has been on a roll lately, with ever-increasing sales, credited partly to the extended-wheelbase, four-door Unlimited version. The next generation is said to be moving to greater use of aluminum for weight reduction, along with an independent front suspension, possibly similar to the Ram Power Wagon design.
