Thats funny. I bought a yellow 72 cj5 once. It sat in the yard for 2 months before my wife even noticed it. I reckon I forgot to tell her I bought it.

11 years for me. It all started with FSJs. I had a Wagoneer, then a 76' Cherokee Chief. My first open top Jeep was a 1983 CJ7 that I daily drove for a few years, about 70 miles a day. Due to a surgery and not being able to depress the clutch, I had to get rid of it.


Then my wife surprised me and bought me a 2013 True Blue JK.


I now drive a 2014 Unlimited in Granite Crystal.


This Jeep thing sure is addicting! :rock:

4 months... the wife and I have always wanted one even before we knew each other... My wife's first car was a Samurai lifted on 44's...

I test drove and inquired a few times over the years, but never had the means to do anything about it, now at 38 I finally have it and boy do I wish I had just bit the bullet years ago, i had no idea what I was missing...

Happy to have it part of my 'wayalife"...

Thanks! The half doors are my favorite thing about it. I love the look, the functionality and the ease of going naked or buttoning up quickly with all of the freak rain showers we get here.
