Cut fender flares

I saw a few with cut fender flares, but in the flat black. Anybody with the body color matched flares ever cut them? I think it'd look pretty awesome but am afraid I'd screw it up and there go those nicely painted fenders.

What'd I miss? How come ya sold it if ya don't mind me askin?

I was wondering the same thing. Must have missed it, didn't realize you got rid of it.

I sold it back in June. I was given a work truck and told I could drive it as my own, so having a new car payment sitting in the driveway didn't add up when I'm trying to lower debt and buy a house. I hate that I don't have it any more, but I should be back in a Jeep in the next year or two. As of now, the plan is to get the wife into a JKUR and then I get to build my trail rig. It will be worth the wait (at least I keep telling myself that). Luckily, there's a bunch of awesome WAL'ers that let me tag along with them! :thumb:

It's all good, my neighbor went through the same thing with selling his jk for a truck. Now 2 years later his wife has a really nice JKU that he's built up and eventually will be his. Let's just hope that when the time comes for you to get your new jeep that you can get another granite one ;)

I agree, but had a granite sport show up last fall after I purchased mine; and I only have a little over 3k people in my hometown![emoji19] I may have to trade-up for the '16 ...

Anyone know if the 75th anniversary is gonna be limited to certain colors?

The 75th Anniversary is available in Granite too. The only exclusive color it will com in is "Sarge", which looks very similar to Tank to me, but I have not seen it in person. It will also have exclusive bronze colored Rubicon Hard Rock bumpers and accents. It is up on their website now if you want to take a look.

I'm really digging those wheels!

Thanks! I was originally running those wheels on my 2 door JK.

When I decided to go with a 4 door instead, one of the first things I noticed was the Anthracite color on the wheels was a very close match to Granite Crystal, so I had the dealership swap them out.

Then I ended up picking up some BFG KM2s in 35 with some AEV Pintler wheels.

I decided pretty quickly I liked the Fuel Trophy wheels better and had Discount Tire mount the 35s on the Fuel wheels. Now I am prepping for 37s lol! It never ends! Ill likely keep the same wheels.

They are a perfect pairing! And they look bad ass! I've always been partial to matte black wheels myself. They go with everything! Any regrets on the half doors? I run half doors in the summer, but not Mopars. I like the full doors, but it's a pain in the ass swapping them all the time, because my set up requires I move mirrors too. (My half doors have mirrors, but a long time ago I mounted my factory mirrors to my A-Pillars and lost the brackets to put them back on the factory doors. I may be moving to the four door myself, and would love the Mopar half doors but I just don't know about the plastic windows...

Personally, I love the half doors. The plastic windows are no bother to me at all. Some complain about the lack of insulation and road noise they let in, but I personally have had no issues with that. I drive a lot on the highway with no issues as well. If you are used to soft cushy vehicles they may not be for you. I'm coming from driving old Wagoneers and CJs, so this thing is like a dirt limo to me. Zipping the windows down takes some getting used to, but I had it down to a quick, one handed operation by the end of the first week. The half doors have been, and still are my favorite part of the rig. I can take them off wherever and throw them in the back. If I need to button the Jeep up really quick, be it rain or security, it takes seconds to do so.

Don't think I've actually put mine up here.

The day I got Scout and as it stands today. Saving to go to 37s.

First day I bought it. First mod was tinting front windows and visor area of windshield. Second photo is the current look of it. Winch and lift should be on soon. Saving up for ProRocks.

Digging those sliders. What are they?

And are those 35s or 37s?
