Thoughts on pricing?

That is trully funny (and sad) but mostly funny... Just another old car guy that can't hack it in the business anymore trying to sell his knowledge or lack thereof, trying to get over on people at $39.95 a pop! Can't tell you how many of those I've seen over the years!

I know the general consensus of the population is that everybody in the auto biz is a liar, a thief, and a crook... I've spent my entire life trying to explain to people that not all of us are "that guy". If asked... There's a lot of us that will gladly give you that same information for free and go to great lengths to help in any way that we can.

Be happy to actually. If you'd like, why don't you pm me the particulars on your trade in... Year, make, model, miles, condition, amount owed as well as the pricing that the dealer you went to gave you and I'll make a few phone calls, see what I can do for you. I do have to ask you a question though... Are to ready to buy like now if everything's in line or is this a fishing expedition for down the road?

Used to be man, I'm retired now at 43 just enjoying my kids and my jeep! I do have a lot of contacts here in phoenix though and told him I'd be glad to help a fellow member if i could. I think he was kidding about his gofundme acct btw.
 
I'm not exactly the best to give advice, being that I have over payed for almost every vehicle I've ever bought, including my jeep. But, I can tell you, learn from my mistake. Don't fall in love with a car. If you do, you are more likely to make a poor choice. If you really have to think this hard about it, chances are you are in love and just trying to justify to yourself in some way buying this jeep. I know you are really looking for financial advice, sorry for the psych speech, but if your financial situation isn't great, you are probably better off waiting till it is, or looking at something used. Just my 2 pennies.

No. And I'm still not convinced it was. Plus, despite giving you the benefit of the doubt, given the idiotic nature of your original question it's not a stretch to believe you'd be dumb enough to post up a gofundme page. Oh fuck, I completely didn't put 2 and 2 together this was the gofundme prick. Any jackleg that set up a gofundme account and one month later buys a $42k vehicle is a certified low life piece of shit. This is all a bad look dude.

I think this is a different dude from the one you're thinking about. Looking at his activity I don't see where he started a thread for it like the other dude did. Not saying he's not a turd, just isn't that turd.
