Y'all crack me up!!!!

On a serious note though, I definitely appreciate your honest opinions!!

I had a feeling y'all would steer me from this but wanted to make sure! It's a shame the sliders are shit, kinda liked the way they look, oh well right?!

Stay away from those "sliders"! I have the Smittybilt version and they do nothing to protect the rocker panel or pinch seam. My 2016 JKU pinch seam is creased behind the passenger door on both sides. I am currently saving up for a set of good sliders. Listen to the rest of them when they say don't by Smittybilt.
 
No worries there. I have removed these "sliders" from my wish list!

One of the things I liked about these ones, is that I could make something pink to go underneath the star cutouts so that it could be seen. Oh well! I will find something else.

You could do something like that with evo too. Evo sliders have cut outs.

Lol, Sorry if it wasn't clear. I'm not great at sarcasm. Yes, I was saying I think he was full of shit. Unfortunately, Trans America has a history of taking over good companies and transferring all manufacturing overseas. Rubicon Express is a good example of this. Not only do I not believe Smittybilt will ever be made in the US, I also fear Poison Spyder is doomed. Shame too! They make some great looking stuff!

No no, after reading it again you were certainly clear enough lol. I think I was just speed reading. But yea, such a shame. They make really good stuff.

I meant the cutout that sits flush up against the side of the jeep. She has a black jeep, so a pink insert would add some color.

I thought on the 2nd generation ones, there was one edge open where you could put something behind there, I was wrong, I just looked, there isn't. My bad. Unless you wanted to spray some pink expando foam in there, lol.
