Add-Ons questions

Okay so after some thought I will put my "looks" preference aside and check into the Switch Pro system. Could you guys post some pics of places where you installed the switch panel. Also a possible overview of install/ what I'll need to do it.

Thanks guys!
If for any reason you do decide to go with sPod, make sure you order the ARB compressor adapter, it was like $7, but it takes a big chunk of wiring out and replaces it with like a 1 foot connecting wire. I have no idea if the Switch Pros has something like that too, maybe someone with it can answer that? But I know that that little connector made the install a lot easier for me

Switch pros has the same add on ARB Harness.

I've been looking at one of these as well but have a question about wiring up a winch to it. I feel like I've seen somewhere it says it's not advised but in one of the links posted above, it shows winch stickers for the switch panel. Has anyone been able to do this?

I personally wouldn't wire a winch to a Switch Pros, sPod or any other kind of switch system. I would only use the hand held unit that is provided. I don't own a winch but I have been winched a few times and I can tell you it would be pretty hard to keep my hand on my sPod while trying to winch myself any obstacle. You can bounce around a little or slide, its much easier to hold on to that hand control than a mounted switch system

The button wouldnt actually activate the winch - only provide power so the handheld works. But whats the point of putting on an on-off switch if the only time it draws power is when you use it with the handheld remote?

That's kinda what I was figuring, but I was going through and making a list of what 8 accessories I would actually be able to fill the entire switch panel with, and it was suprisingly harder than I expected. Other than an air compressor, all I can think of is lights of different sorts.

I currently have air/spot lights/cb/rock lights. 2 of the remaining 4 will be lockers eventually. After that, I have no idea.

CB is a good one. I have a rubi, so lockers are out... My thinking would be air, lights in the from and rear, rock lights and I really hate how dim the interior lighting is so maybe add some extra lights in the back. It would be really handy while camping to have extra light to help look for gear. I've looked at the sticker shreds they provide for inspiration but there's just something's on there that I would never need.

Shit I've bought 90% of my stuff from Northridge4x4 and they aren't a preferred vendor anymore lol

As you know full well, there's a reason why they aren't preferred vendors here anymore and being that you're a guest on my forum, it would be much appreciated by me if you could try to show just a little respect for me.

Didn't know if any of you guys had preferred vendors besides TrailJeeps, sorry.

As WJCO, I am grateful for your willingness to buy from a preferred vendor. Certainly, it is they that help make this forum possible for you to use and for free. Aside from TrailJeeps, Havoc Off Road is a supporter as well. If you can't find what you're looking for from them, I personally would recommend that you buy from Amazon - if you click on the skim link below we would still get a tiny cut from that as well.

NR 4x4 sucks donkey dicks. Well, unless you don't care about having your stuff arrive on time, in complete packaging, and with all of the pieces. Plus, they are great at selling you the wrong shit or shit you don't need.

Alright so Amazon it is! Now I just gotta find the right mounting place, has anybody used one of these A-pillar switch mounts but cut the whole thing out and put in the panel like this?
