The simple answer is yes it can be done, matter of fact there is a fellow from the east coast (US) on here running 40's on a Dana 30. Would I recommend it?:eek::grayno: Not at all, but its your money and your rig, don't let us change your mind. :crazyeyes:

Yup, i'll try it, anyway i would sell it for litlle$$ if i put a 44..... If it breaks i'll simply buy a rockjock!

As Frank said- It's your $ and your rig

and X2 on the ring & pinion weak on the deeper gears. I would not recommend 5.38.

I like to stick with the theory of you can do things to make axles stronger (gussets, rcv shafts, truss) but in the end, its the ring and pinion that will always haunt you.
