Unfortunately, you will need to do this from the full site as the poll will not work on our app.

    While we would ALSO love for you to expand on your thoughts regarding this question, what we're really hoping for are the statistics that the survey will provide. To help make your efforts worth your while, we will be giving away WAYALIFE shot glasses to random members who participate in our poll.

    With all that said...

    SHINY or BLACK - What kind of wheels do You Prefer?
    SHINY - This includes chrome, polished aluminum AND cast or machined aluminum. Essentially any wheel that isn't painted or powder coated.

    BLACK - This would include a high gloss or matte finished, black steel or aluminum wheel INCLUDING ones with a beadlock or rock ring in a different color.

    Thanks for your help!
    18" Black Wheels for sure is what my next wheel replacements will be.

    I'm not a huge fan of chrome in general, but I do like chrome or brushed aluminum wheels. You gotta have a little bling!

    I think both can look great. Really depends on the Jeep as others have said. However, I tend to lean more towards black. At least for my Jeep.

    Gloss is making a comeback although I do like some of the sand & bronze stuff coming out now too.

    Shiny is the new Black (-;

    Raw aluminum works best for me now and I just ordered my new 8 x 6.5 TR's this way.

    Shiny. More specifically raw or machined aluminum.

    Voting Black

    I definitely prefer BLACK
    Some people say "Once you go black, you never go back" but I guess that's not always true. 🤔
    Mine don't quite look this good anymore (pic is when brand new) after off-roading but I always black out any chrome I can.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
