I'm stuck overseas, my replacement is not getting here until September 2nd, my transition with him will take a week. I will get home at the same time the JKX is having the legendary survivors dinner on the last day of the event. I am truly sad ;( Oh well, three years in a row was a pretty good run! I'll be there next year
I should not really be complaining, this is absolutely the best assignment location I have ever been in after almost 30 years of operational time. In fact it is so good, I have actually had the opportunity to fly my wife over and spend a week. However, like any knuckle dragging, car, motorcycle, jeep and off road nut job like myself, I have managed to end up in the dog house with my wife while in one of the most beautiful places in the world. So I have recently learned that you never, ever, never say to your wife while staying in Lake Como, Italy that you would really rather be leaving for the JKX instead of being here. I would rather be surrounded by dirt, rocks, 40" Nittos and helping a bunch of people have a freaking awesome time. Here's my view.

I'm digging the location of those ambers
I was thinking; that might be a good location for a brake light backup light combo.
Almost ready.
Rear Ambers up.
Rotopax on
Took out rear mastercraft seats and put in a shelf for more storage.
New Engine skid for 6.4 powerplant.
ARB cooler mounted.
ARB Drawers in.

Looking great Krawlin. :thumb:
Question. Can't quite tell, but looks like your running some sort of ultra low profile rear bumper that adds a little corner protection. You have any better shots or can share what you're running. Appears to be more than just d-ring mounts???
Just a guess, but I'm guessing this trip will be in the Southwest? Mojave Road, Death Valley, Nevada desert? Overlander type trails.

Looks like a PSC BFH to me.
I can't imagine JKX being hat easy.

You know it's going to be way harder than flat terrain, but its sounds like they're going to be getting up to speed at some points. Can't wait to see.
negative ghost rider...
Spoiler alert.....It's all being done on the PCH this year

That probably would have been the hardest wheeling your rig has seen. Too bad you couldn't go.
Utah this year. According to Northridge's Facebook page.
