2016 Wayalife End of Summer WINDROCK Run - Official Event Thread

I vote for a new venue next year... Harlan, AOP, something different every year.

While the idea of a different venue every year is great, it's just not always feasible. There were a lot of pre-runs that had to take place for this years event to take place and I'm not going to be able to do a ton of those at a new park this next year. I have other things I need to focus on, like making sure I'm in my own Jeep next year. I'm not saying that there won't be runs to those locations within the next year, it's just not something I'm wanting to do right now for the EOS Run. Not to mention the fact that there aren't many parks that have the amenities that go along with having it at Windrock.

As Frogmech mentioned, you're welcome to put your own run together to AOP, Harlan, or any of the other locations. I'm sure there are plenty of folks that would like to go.

Keep it at windrock. We only scratched the surface of what they have to offer. And it really wasn't that bad with the temps. At least it wasn't 100 plus like it was earlier this summer.

Keep rocking on Trevor. You did great and I am sure next year's run will be even better.

I vote Windrock, tons of trails.

With all this talk about other runs, just wanted to say that, yes, there will be a 2017 EOS run. There will be some changes compared to this year, like pushing it back to a slightly cooler time of year, but it will happen!

Let us know the details. I know I'm in for next year.
Thanks again for all the work you put into this year's event. Great time.

Mid to late Sep sounds prefect, the weather here in TN is great that time a year. Warm during the day and cool enough to have a campfire, and actually enjoy setting by one and not sweating your ass off..... :cheesy:

Mid to late September, so you are saying we can get another one in the books in the next 2 or 3 weeks?!?! Trevor, make it happen hahaha

Really, that sounds like great timing for next year's run.

Being back at work sucks.

Trevor, another vote for Windrock and a vote from Patsy for Windrock. It was a great event and maybe we can cover all 50 states next year.

Yep could have used another few days wheeling. Being back at work definitely sucks. Lol I say keep at wind rock as well. It's a great area with plenty for everyone of all levels.

Ahhh trail 15 the one that claimed the life of my rear locker on my Jeep TJ. That was a good pic of my big head hanging out the side. Thanks mattmc

Your cousin deserves an award! Number 1 for all the great pics, but even more for all the spider webs he cleared every time he got out of the jeep to do something for the rest of us. He was a great pet of our group for sure!
