Caught the Bug
I have friends who run 40s on their stock axles. They go less places than they used to on their 37s because they are always afraid they might break the axles. What's the point then. Another friend has a pr44 front and pr60 semifloat rear and our last trip out he bent both rear shaft flanges and he was taking it easy. I see all over the web people who "wheel the sh*t" out of their jeeps on d30s or stock d44s. Everyone I know who has tried it either breaks it or takes all the bypasses so they don't break it. And I live in Michigan where an 800 ft elevation change is considered a ski slope!!! Just my 2c.
