Article: Jeep JK Wrangler NV-241 / NV-241OR Transfer Case Service

Thanks for the write-up . Just changed the fluid in my Xnfsr Case this weekend. The old fluid had about 40k on it and came out looking pretty clean, but smells even worse than gear oil. Found a good supplier for Redline C+ locally, so I put in just a hair under 2 qts.

This Fluid is ok for my 17 JKUR Auto... right?

The Back label reads: "..... transfer cases requiring Dex/Merc or ATF+4 fluids"

So long as it states on the back that it meets or exceed MS-9602, you should be good to go. That is what Chrysler recommends.
Hmm... looked on their website... doesn't say that... only their ATF4 trans fluid says that. This one just says "FCA Dodge & Jeep."

If you're servicing the T-Case, you'll be fine. If you're servicing the automatic transmission, get the Mopar ATF+4.

$32 a quart!?! Did they give you some lube first before they screwed you from behind? Lol at my local dealer I paid maybe $40 for a case of it
