Wow! Looking forward to seeing how this comes out. I'm always impressed by people with real fab skills.

Here are a few more pictures of my fab work. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1443572585.220482.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1443572622.121661.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1443572646.300871.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1443572686.720597.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1443572719.070090.jpg
It was a really fun project, the first real fabrication project I have done of its kind. It feels good to know I built it and it only cost $30.00 in material.

I will post pictures of I all complete later.

Well I have started my bumper build. I am mimicking the size of the 1/4 pounder with a few changes. I will eventually build a stinger. I am making the bumper out of 1/4 inch a36. Props for doing the fab work yourself. I have the tools to do it, yet my stuff never comes out close enough to what I want to justify making most things.

Yeah, it is very time consuming in order to make it look good. If you factor in man hours to make a bumper on your own, the Evo 1/4 pounder is an awesome price. I still like the fact I can say I built mine.

I worked on my bumper just a little bit before work. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1445281997.001952.jpg
I will cut the corner to match the angle.

I used 1/8 inch flat steel for the angle corners, seeing that they have no structural purpose.

Been slow going lately on the bumper and the build. I did order a new 1310 front drive shaft today. So that should be here by the end of the week or the beginning of next week. Wish I had more monies, but he damn responsible adulting gets in the way. :-/
