Looks great Canvas. It looks like you are using pt when in contact with concrete but are you guys required to use any sort of sill seal in Texas?

Not really it is something that I was taught when framing in California. Keeps the wood from dry rotting and keeps termites out and other wood eating bugs.

Well we started putting the second floor joists in today. Also set the 4x6 cedar post.
