Mopar's Blue Crush has possibly the first one from Dynatrac that made it to public viewing about two years ago at SEMA. Sorry no rear drivetrain shots. But I'm sure if you searched the thousands of pics in Project JK's gallery they have from previous SEMA shows there might be one in there.

Hey Greg, what's with that tie rod in the picture? It looks like its 3+ pieces and has a shock in the middle...?

That is a "full hydraulic" ram setup. The traditional steering linkage only exist from the steering wheel to an orbital valve box which is usually mounted right near the fire wall or maybe near the engine block. There is no drag link, sector shaft, tie rods, steering gear box, etc. Hydraulic fluid basically steers the vehicle. Great for Offroad only race vehicles, not so good for street driven vehicles, very "touchy" steering.

Greg in the pictures u posted of blue crush it looks like the front of the rig is set forward compared to our rigs. Is this an optical allusion do to the front shocks angle or does she have a different wheel base I wonder.

Chris, they stretched the wheel base by pushing both front and rear axles out. Not sure why, it is a four door and already had what is considered in the sweet spot for competitive/racing wheel bases which is what that build was about. It is really almost too long, but now you do get more up travel in front because no risk of axle to engine contact. However, even with a looonngg wheel base, since they are running full hydro-steering it can actually have the ability to have a much tighter turning radius since there is zero mechanical linkage to bind, giving greater lock to lock turning ratio.
