EVO Protek Skids

Thanks, I didn't end up ordering that - just the oil pan/transmission skid.
Figured the exhaust wasn't a big deal, and if it ever does get mangled it'll just be an excuse to get something nicer.

Would you be able to check out the question above regarding the transmission mounting plate?
I'll be installing the kit tomorrow and am still a bit unsure about it.

This write-up I did should help answer some questions

If you needed something more specific, please let me know.

I'm pretty sure the trans skid attaches to the underside of the rear trans mount. In other words, you do not have to lift up the rear of the trans to slide the skid in, it just slips under the nut. I can't find a good pic on my phone. Maybe I can get one tonight.

Honestly, I would ditch the cross member skid and just get an HD replacement cross member. Your transmission will still be protected along with its exposed cooler line and really, the only thing that will get hit a bit from time to time is maybe your exhaust cross over and that's no big deal. This is what I've been running on Rubicat.

Which HD replacement cross member is good?
