Finished my fender chop

Looks good. What tool did you use to make the cut and did you do it with the fenders still installed?

Used a dremel with thin 1 in cutting discs, then a belt sander with 120 grit to level every thing while they were off, once I installed everything I used 120 on a sanding block and then 220 to smooth it out and finish with a nice rounded edge.

i used a dremil to do my front and it worked fine but it took a long time i just invested in a $30 angle grinder from home depot and it chopped through my rear fenders like butter and took maybe 60 seconds on each side and it cuts through the sheet metal pinch seam like butter too it was a great investment and is much easier to control than a sawzall

How wide are your stock flares? I have a tj and have been looking into getting extended flares to cut but don't know how wide I should go. The widest I have found is 7".
