ignition key stuck

If the cylinder is shot, make sure key is fully in the off position. Tap it inward lightly with a hammer or your palm. Give it a few taps. Then forcefully try and pull it out. Cylinder still needs replacement but at least you get the key out.
Carefully inspect the key to see if it's worn. Most keys that wear to the point of damaging the cylinder is from heavy fucking key chain items.

still starts every thing is normal just cant roataed back to the remove postion, was fine this morning, came home and it wouldnt come out )-:

heres what happend, Grand son put a costom shift knob on , didnt get it on correctly, release button wasnt letting the linkage pop up all the way inside the consol so it didnt know it was in park, cable still taught, .....adjuted knob up a little, button alowing linkage to move up all the way, cable releasing all the way, key comes out now, just broke on wire and need a new 4 wire terminal, I hope the Part's Dept well help me order one, some cant be bothered
