ILIKEDIRTs build!!

Got my rock skins in today! Hopefully the install goes smoothly. Just waiting for my nutsert tool to get here. Hopefully I'll have them on later this week! ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1446408889.890196.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1446408900.090101.jpg

Update time,
So around early December got to work adding some stuff...

Tossed on Evo 1/4 pounder with stinger.
Evo vac pump relocate as well.
Bumper Sat empty for about a week and then couldn't stand the big empty space on the bumper so got myself a nice warn powerplant 9.5 with the fair lead light bracket to mount my Duallys.
Super stoked on the bumper/winch combo ( same as my old jeep and still love it). Tossed it on in my apartment parking spot... Haha neighbors hate me... But o well ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452393854.746275.jpg

Then ordered up some Evo Rock skins, LOD sliders, and a JE reel front DS.

Took the skins and driveshaft to Texas with me to knock out that with Sithwindu and the skin install went real smooth! Super Time consuming but came out really nice.
Due to rain and work couldn't get the driveshaft or sliders on but super glad I was able to get the skins on as I was scared to put them on myself. Haha.

Now waiting to get my drill and tap in the mail and toss on the sliders!

Really happy with the build this far!
Shoutout to sithwindu for he help with the skins!

That seems like an awesome way to take care of some empty space. :thumb:

Anytime brotha!!!

I was stupid nervous for the instal, since the one time I did it I screwed up royally. My poison spyder Rock skins are complete jacked on both sites, holes didn't line up, and one side I can't take off cause a screw and nutcert are spinning, but the Evo skins are a way easier install and cleaner!

Had just a good experience installing I'm considering replacing my poison spyder with the Evo skins! Just hoping non of the whole will conflict with the PS holes.

(Also need to see if the Evo are comparable with the Evo outlaw corners I just got, or if trimming is needed).

Can't wait to see the lods on!!!!

If they come all the way down like the builder corners (I think they are the same) you WILL have to trim them down. I just did this. Wasn't too bad to do.ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452440253.311522.jpg

Bro your a life saver!!! Iv been looking all over and couldn't find any pics! Yeah I got the builder corners, could you snap a closer pic of the trim you did whenever is convenient for ya, did you trim the rocker guard? Or the rear builder corner?

Anytime! I trimmed the rocker guards since you can't trim the corners or you will cut off the lower mounting point of the corner. I had the corners completely installed already. Had a buddy help me hold up the rock skins, marked my cut line and made a straight cut with a chop saw. Everything lined up perfect. One thing I still may add is an additional hole for a bolt/nutsert on the trimmed end since you eliminate the two end bolts/nutserts. But it's actually not bad without them so we'll see. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452441457.470722.jpgUnfortunately I didn't realize I had to trim them till after I had them powder coated so you can see the powder coat got a little messed up from the heat from cutting but no biggie. But it's a straight cut.
