Just seemed like a cheap shot on a good, American company.

Cheap shot? LOL!! This happend on the JKX and several people hit the same tree and just as hard - this was the only bumper that got tacoed. As far as "good American companies" go, you have got to be kidding me. I've dealt with these guys in the past and they are full of themselves - if anything, they should be humbled by this. If they're smart, they'll even learn from it and make a better product in the future.

Lol. May want to reduce the dosage on those sensitivity pills. In my book, if the airbag did not go off, then the hit sure as hell should not be hard enough to taco an expensive aftermarket bumper.

To quote another famous company. It was probably installer error then. Lol

How did he do that? Without a story, you don't know if that is good or bad. Looks to me like he ran into a tree??

LOL! How exactly are they a good american company? Because your brother has their bumper they are a good company now?

Two of my good friends were there when it happened. They sent me pictures of this and pictures of their bumper when they hit the same tree. Absolutely no damage to any bumpers other then JCR bumpers.

In fact trail jeeps was also running a JCR bumper and they bent theirs. Is that enough proof for you to believe that this 'good american company' makes shitty products?

Looking closely at the pic, it appears the "stinger" hit first and then the mounting points for the bumper bent rotating the entire unit into the grill, at which point the bumper made contact with the tree and was bent inward. Looks like the winch was pushed into the grill.

I'd be pissed.

Well when you take parts from whatever company will throw them at you because you have no spine, it's hard to be pissed.

Great point! I've seen a ton of accident pictures involving after market bumpers. I've never seen a taco Tuesday one before this.
