More wiring today. I lost the diagrams I had pulled up plus I had finals so things began to pile up. Struggling through the old Port and got the gm computer wired into power. I might do fuel lines today as well.

It looks like RadioShack threw up in your engine bay. I hate wiring I wish you the best of luck in combining the two.

The wiring is pissing me off. There is no real good write-up for this part of the wiring so it's baby steps. Especially the in dash wiring for the gauges and obd port.

Tossing some ideas around for the EVAP system. I know there is really no gain to deleting it but say I did, I would then need to cap the vapor line from.the tank and try and find a way to vent the tank correct? Curious if anyone had gone this route or know of a way to accomplish this. I've already deleted the EVAP from the harness but it's just one sensor and I can always put it back in if need be.

I believe you should have a fuel tank pressure sensor as well as a vent solenoid. The sensor tells the solenoid when it needs to open. If you ditch the system, you should be able to just pull the o-ring on the fuel cap or get a pre EVAP vented cap. Depending on what your running for an ECM it could take a lot of work to trick the system into thinking it's working.

I'm just going to add back into the harness. Less work on the other end that way. Solenoid is back in place I just need to re run the harness wire. I'm also going to just use the Jeep EVAP canister since it has a line that runs to the vapor return line. I also cleaned up the main Jeep harness and got it run somewhat where it will be, as well as got the entire fuel system worked up except for the 5v constant supply. Still confused on how to run that. I got the inside wiring cleaned up and now all I have left is is the gauges and obd2. One problem im running into is the differentiation between obd serial and sci transmit and recieve. Jeep harness has the latter but the Chevy harness only has the obd serial wire.not sure how to proceed from there, but I can retain the stock grounds and fused 12v supply for the port at least. To get the clutch pedal to work I need this long hook looking thing that is seen at the end of my brake master cylinder. Any idea where I can snag one of those? I'm thinking probably scrapyard but 🤷. Got the obd2 port wired up sans the information with. That will wait until the dash is mounted. Also cut the Jeep gauge cluster ends off and labeled what wire is what. Going with autometer gauges and install kit but staying away from mechanic gauges. I also got all.of my keyed ignition wires worked into am auxiliary fise block and my pcm always hot rewired into same block. These will run through a relay and then the battery and the fused one will be wired straight to the ignition. All that's left of wiring is electric fan, gauges finall hookup, and some assorted sensors. Then it's transmission mount and driveshafts. More wiring, more wiring, and even more wiring. I'm getting real close. I freaking love ls1swap though. His images make it so easy to go through step by step. I also got the new brake with clutch pedal assembly installed. Realized that the pushrod for the master was supposed to be in the kit I bought and it wasn't 🤷. No biggie and it's all together now. I love seeing three pedals in there. Last thing before I put the dash back together is the drive by wire gas pedal that was specific ONLY to 01-02 Tahoe's. Oregon auto wrecking should be calling me back later to confirm he has the only one in the scrapyards in Oregon. Shortsighted on my part when buying the engine but no biggie either. I gotta take a break and drive my sister to work but tonight I should be wiring back in the EVAP purge solenoid, and finishing up routing the old Jeep harness where it used to be, albeit it's much thinner. I'm glad that I had proper foresight and saved a whole bunch of wiring from the Chevy harness INCLUDING the EVAP purge solenoid plug and wires, minus the computer pinouts. I did save some of those though so it's just a matter of weaving it back into the harness and crimping and pinning it back in.
